AniCura Glòries Hospital Veterinari has different hospitalization areas: two general wards (one for dogs and one for cats), one isolation ward for infectious animals and another one for intensive care or ICU.
The Intensive Care Unit, in synergy with the highly qualified stuff, has the necessary equipment for the assistance for animals in critical situations. The administration of fluids, oxygen, heat, temperature and humidity control, together with the monitoring of vital signs and the implementation of the appropriate therapy are essential for the stabilization of these patients in critical conditions.
